29 września uczniowie klasy 1c odwiedzili bank PKO. Podczas wizyty dzieci dowiedziały się, na czym polega praca w banku, jak i do czego wykorzystywane są nowoczesne urządzenia, obejrzały prezentację jak przechowywane są pieniądze w skarbcu. Uczniowie zdecydowali, że warto oszczędzać każdy grosz i wpłacać go do Szkolnej Kasy Oszczędzania, a zaoszczędzone pieniądze przeznaczać na spełnianie dziecięcych marzeń.
Pasowanie na ucznia Szkoły Podstawowej nr 1 im. Janusza Korczaka w Szprotawie to wyjątkowa uroczystość i wielkie przeżycie dla naszych najmłodszych uczniów. Tradycyjnie ta ważna ceremonia odbyła się w obecności Króla Maciusia – tytułowego bohatera książki patrona naszej szkoły oraz jego orszaku. Każdego pierwszoklasistę na pełnoprawnego ucznia zabytkowym piórem pasowała pani dyrektor Jadwiga Zarzeczna-Rosół. Do braci uczniowskiej zostały włączone dzieci trzech klas – 1a, 1b i 1c. Gratulujemy Wam serdecznie, życzymy samych szóstek i wspaniałych chwil spędzonych w naszej szkole!

24 września nasza szkoła dołączyła do Ogólnopolskiej Akcji V Bieg Erasmusa organizowanego przez Fundację Rozwoju Systemu Edukacji. W tym roku bieg odbył się w formie rywalizacji zdalnej drużyn sztafetowych pod hasłem „Bijemy rekord Polski!” W zawodach wzięli udział nauczyciele realizujący projekt pod hasłem ”W szkole marzeń – nauka daje MOC!” w ramach programu Erasmus+. Zadaniem uczestników biegu było przebiegnięcie jak najdłuższego dystansu w ciągu godzinnej rywalizacji. Bieg odbył się na nowym szkolnym boisku. Po godzinnej rywalizacji i podliczeniu wyników poszczególnych zawodników drużyna dobiegła do METY. Wynik w formie elektronicznej został przesłany do organizatorów biegu. Na zakończenie uczestnicy zostali uhonorowani pamiątkowymi medalami i gadżetami. My już wiemy, że widzimy się za rok ponownie na STARCIE! To była świetna zabawa…
Wrzesień jest miesiącem świadomości nowotworów u dzieci. Dlatego w środę uczniowie klas VII-VIII, przy współpracy fundacji "Gdy liczy się czas", wzięli udział w pierwszym w historii Biegu w Piżamach. Młodzież założyła piżamy w ramach solidarności z chorymi na nowotwór dziećmi na Oddziałach Onkologicznych. Jesteśmy dumni z naszych wspaniałych uczniów. W minioną środę uczniowie naszej szkoły wyjechali na wycieczkę do Sprembergu, w ramach projektu "Integracja mieszkańców poprzez transgraniczną polsko-niemiecką edukację ekologiczną w Szprotawie i Sprembergu". Siódmoklasiści mieli możliwość sprawdzić swoje umiejętności językowe, rozmawiając z nowymi kolegami i koleżankami w języku niemieckim i angielskim. Gry i zabawy na świeżym powietrzu dodatkowo pozwoliły przełamać barierę językową. Uczniowie miło spędzili czas w rezerwacie przyrody, poznali m.in. życie nietoperzy oraz ciekawostki przyrodnicze.
